Financial Calculators
Loans, mortgages, interest, savings and everyday money maths.
These are the calculators for money that compounds or repays over time. The loan and mortgage calculators use the same amortisation formula, so a car loan and a house work identically: the difference is only in the term and the size. Use the mortgage page when you want the property-specific breakdown, and the loan page for everything else.
Compound interest works in the opposite direction, growing a balance rather than paying one down, and it handles regular contributions as well as a single deposit. The tip and discount calculators are the everyday end of the same idea, arithmetic you could do by hand but would rather not do at a restaurant table or in a shop.
Every figure here is an estimate based on what you enter. None of it accounts for fees, insurance, tax or a lender's own rounding, so treat the results as a way to compare options rather than as a quote.
